In 2020, the second "From Zero to One" program was held in two universities in Beijing (Beijing Foreign Studies University and Central Academy of Fine Arts). 42 university students were selected for the program. Through 13 weeks of online and offline training, these university students created eight innovative programs, four of which received a total of 50000 yuan of funds and will get follow-up support from tutors..

Social Effect of the Program:

• Guide young people to deeply explore social issues, systematically grasp theoretical knowledge and practical methods of social innovation, and improve their awareness and ability to participate in public affairs and solve social problems.

• Guide young people to pay attention to social welfare, cultivate future leaders and social entrepreneurs, and promote a virtuous circle of social ecology.

• Incubate potential social innovation programs through online courses and offline programs, improve hybrid learning and program-based learning system, and create a brand of social innovation education.

• It has proved the unique value of social innovation education in higher education ecology, expanded the teaching interest and curriculum demand of colleges and universities for social innovation training programs, and explored feasible inter-school cooperative teaching mode.

The second "From Zero to One" program was established to cooperate with two universities, Beijing Foreign Studies University and Central Academy of Fine Arts. The program was valued by the leaders (including the presidents) of the two universities and supported by

schools through various resources including school grounds, teachers, students recruitment, etc.

The program screened 42 university students through the open application channels of the universities. Students were mainly from Beijing Foreign Studies University and Central Academy of Fine Arts, as well as nearby institutions.

•Most of the students were between 20-22 years old and were about to graduate (junior and senior students). It highlighted attraction of our program for students in key decision-making stages, continued to study or chose to start a business.

•More than half of the 42 participants were women (30 of 42). Compared with other general entrepreneurship programs, it not only shows our support for women but also shows that women are determined to break the stereotype of lacking entrepreneurial ability and pursue their entrepreneurial dream.

The majors of students included Law, Art Design, Language, Economy, etc. Although participants from different specialties were talented, they lacked corresponding business knowledge and experience. The program provided them the opportunity to learn practical business knowledge and experience.
