March 21 to 23, 2019, local time, the first Sino-Italian Philanthropy Forum - East and West Leaders Summit was successfully held in Rome, Italy. More than 30 authoritative representatives from the political, philanthropic, business, artistic and academic circles of China and Italy were invited to attend the forum to explore philanthropy innovation (personnel training, technological innovation, climate change) under the background of "the Belt and the Road" in the new era between two countries. Opportunities and challenges for cooperation in philanthropy fields such as human well-being (children's education, poverty eradication, health care), culture and art (culture, sports, art and so on).

During the forum, Mr. Niu Gensheng, the Founder of Lao Niu Foundation, delivered a keynote speech entitled "Common Happiness is the Natural Responsibility of Philanthropists", expressing that "In dealing with global challenges, there are many forces that try to change the world, some of which may benefit one part of the people

and others suffer, but philanthropy has only one goal, that is, common happiness. ‘Joint happiness’ is the essential goal of charity."

Mr. Niu Gensheng's speech outlines four major changes in influence of philanthropists:

The influence of philanthropists is evolving from single-track "financial philanthropy" to dual-track "financial philanthropy + intellectual philanthropy".

As a representative of young philanthropists, Niu Ben, the President of the Laoniu Brother & Sister Foundation, also calls on young philanthropists all over the world to innovate for the goodness and take joint action with the relevant cases of family philanthropy and philanthropy innovation.
